Kaylee - Senior Session

It’s a rare opportunity when I am asked to do a senior session, as I tend to mostly photograph little ones, but every time I have the chance, I have the best time getting to know these kids on the brink of adulthood, and capturing their personalities. Kaylee, who is a senior at Pine Richland, was no exception.

Not only is she gorgeous, but she’s an artist. Like me, she sees the beauty in things like mossy bricks, a path in the woods, or an old antique yard ornament. With this in mind, she chose Little Human Photo Venue for her session location because of the Victorian-style greenhouse, the 1846 property, and all the little nooks and crannies hidden amongst it.

She looked stunning posing in the garden and near the pond.

Kaylee is as beautiful inside as she is on the outside. Her relationship with her brother Carson, has led her to consider a future working with special needs children, possibly using her amazing talent to work in Art Therapy.

I’m so excited for her and her lovely family as they embark on the next chapter of her life. Best of luck to you, Kaylee. Enjoy your senior year!

Evan - Senior Portrait Session

Ninety percent of the photography I do is babies and families with young children, but every now and again, I have the pleasure of photographing a high school senior. It is always a treat, as these kids are ending one chapter of their lives, and about to embark on, arguably, the most exciting chapter of college and young adulthood.

I met Evan in Adams Twp. Park, a park that is familiar to his family, as it has been the site of family gatherings throughout the years. We started out with a natural setting during golden hour, then up to the historic schoolhouse, and finally, the high school campus. Evan runs track, so we were sure to get some shots on the track where his mom suggested the awesome shot of lanes 2 & 3 making up a ‘23! Such a great idea! And then it hit me…I graduated high school 20 years ago. Haha!

I wish Evan the best of luck in his future at Edinboro and beyond! He plans to major in biology to eventually pursue a career in Physical Therapy. In the brief amount of time I spent with him, I can tell he has the maturity and strong support system necessary to be a success!

Kadence - Senior Portrait Session

I truly enjoyed photographing “KK” for her senior pictures. She shared with me her plans to become a nurse, and even in the brief amount of time I spent with her, I could tell she possesses the qualities to succeed in that field, as she came across as sweet, caring, and patient. Such a lovely girl to photograph on one of the last warm days of the fall.

She was sure to incorporate some meaningful pieces in her images. A necklace given to her by her grandma, who has been her rock, and rose embroidery, which is her favorite flower. Such special touches.

Best of luck to you in all your endeavors, KK!
