What a view - both the background and the family! I always love capturing the S Family as they just radiate love and kindness. Even though baby girl wasn’t feeling her best, she still managed to give me some smiles. At first we fought to have her give up her little kangaroo for the pictures, but then we realized that, as her mommy puts it, its just part of the story. That is so true! My goal when I photograph any family is to capture this sentence of your story; one that you’ll fondly look back on for years to come.
Alastor is One! - Cranberry Twp. First Birthday Photography
When researching local photographers, Alastor’s mom said she was drawn to my woodsy logo and business name before even clicking on my website. Alastor’s parents love to hike and camp, so it’s only natural that his first birthday theme is “One Happy Camper". So cute - just like he is!
Happy 1st Birthday, Little Guy!
Cameron & Natalie - Cranberry Twp. Baby Photography
These two are just adorable!
The last time I saw them, they were newborns, and it was a few days after Christmas. Now here they are - 9 months and MOVING! They were so much fun to try to capture. Both were trying out their own means of transportation; Cameron crawling on all fours and Natalie army crawling with one arm tucked underneath. SO sweet! Both gave me super big, happy smiles!
The F Family - Marshall Twp. Family Photography
One of my all-time favorite families to photograph! They always bring the smiles, perfectly coordinated outfits, and of course…the most adorable little guy!
Reece Juliet - Pine Twp. Newborn Photography
The newest Princess of Pine has arrived!
My niece, Reece Juliet, arrived on August 29th. Her mommy, daddy, and big sissy are all thrilled to have this sweet, new addition - as is the entire family! Reece has a head full of adorable, wispy, light-brown hair, and to everyone’s surprise, blue eyes! What are the chances that my sister and brother-in-law (who both have dark eyes and hair) would now have two daughters with gorgeous bright blue eyes!? She is a tiny little thing, and looks like a doll next to my son, her big cousin Dominic, who was born 2.5 months earlier.
We all love you, Reecey! Welcome to the family!
Raine - Adams Twp. Maternity Photography
This couple was absolutely lovely to photograph. They BOTH had a glow about them as they anxiously await becoming parents at the end of the month. They were very natural in front of the camera, and gave me lots of good candid moments. Raine was just stunning among the golden grass fields as the setting sun illuminated her.
I can't wait to meet their baby girl!
Jameson is One! - Adams Twp. First Birthday Photography
It was so fun to document a year of Jameson! His parents opted for the "First Year Special" package, so they were able to get three sessions (Newborn, Six Months, and First Birthday) for the price of two. I always enjoy watching the babies grow throughout their first year. There are always a lot of changes that take place every time I see them, but one thing that remained consistent with Jameson was his adorable red hair and lashes - why do boys always get the good lashes!? He is adorably squeezable, and as sweet as his birthday cake.
Happy 1st Birthday, Jameson!
Chelsey & Carmen - Pine Twp. Mother Daughter Photography
Of course I had to temporarily come out of maternity leave to photograph my niece for her upcoming 2nd Birthday, and capture my sister's growing baby bump. This ended up being such a cute mother/daughter session. My niece Carmen is a spitfire - so sassy, but incredibly sweet. We always say that she loves hard, so hard that she can knock down her cousins with the strength of her hugs. She is small, but strong, and so much fun! She gave me such a variety of faces, and some memorable candid shots with her mommy. My sister Chelsey is due with baby girl #2 at the end of August. I can't wait to see Carm as a big sister!
Dominic Joseph - Cranberry Twp. Newborn Photography
We welcomed our second son, Dominic Joseph, on June 11th, 2018 at 11:18 pm. Just like his big brother Vinny, once he decided to arrive, he came quickly! At around 4 pm I noticed my contractions were getting close together, and felt differently than the practice contractions I had been experiencing for months. After timing them and realizing they were anywhere from 3 to 5 minutes apart, I called my husband to come home from work so we could go to the hospital and at least get examined.
Once there, we were told I was 4 cm dilated, 90% effaced, and NOT going home. Within a few hours, I went from 4 to 7 to 10, and three pushes later, Dominic was born! He weighed 6 lbs., 11 oz. and was 18.5 inches long - coordinating perfectly with his birth date of 6.11.18 and birth time of 11:18.
To my pleasant surprise, big brother Vinny was so excited to have his baby brother come home. He has been excitedly talking a mile a minute for the past 2 weeks since Dominic's arrival, and my sleepy baby doesn't even flinch. He must have gotten used to all the noise and chaos while he was in the womb.
I finally got around to doing a newborn session for Dominic, while also being his mommy, food source, and keeping my 3 and a half-year-old at bay. Needless to say, the session took multiple attempts over 2 days, and I broke a sweat. Newborn sessions are always the most challenging sessions I do, but especially when I'm wearing both mommy and photographer hats. Thanks to my husband for acting as my "assistant" through the process.
I am enjoying taking the summer to myself to adjust to our family of four, but of course, can't wait to get back to photography in September! Please feel free to contact me over the summer to schedule your fall session!
Braxon is One! - Cranberry Twp. First Birthday Photography
Sweet, little Braxon was so adorable for his First Birthday Session! I first photographed him last summer when he was a little babe who couldn't yet sit up, now he won't sit still! It's so great to see these little ones time and time again growing up to be active and healthy. He was a total cutie for his pictures, and ended the session with a cupcake smash.
Happy 1st Birthday, Braxon!
Louie is 6 Months! - Cranberry Twp. Baby Photography
Happy Half to sweet little Louie! I last photographed him as a newborn, so it was great to see him return with his mommy and daddy (and his Wolfie) to celebrate his half birthday! He has grown so much, but one thing that continues to stay the same is his love for the camera. He was such a cute, happy guy!
Aiden is Three! - Mars Birthday Photography
I have a soft spot in my heart for little boys (maybe that's why God is blessing me with my second son in June), and this little boy in particular is a very special guy. He and his mama are dear friends to my son and me. We met Aiden and his sweet mom last year through our "Mommy and Me" preschool class and instantly clicked with them. Soon we started having play dates, and one of our favorite spots to visit was the Mars Railroad during the warmer months when they would have their weekly train rides. So when Aiden needed a location for his 3rd birthday session, this was a no-brainer!
The historic train station offers lots of cool, vintage backdrops to perfectly showcase a little boy being a boy. Like my son Vinny, Aiden is into all things transportation, so we could show off his love of trains and planes through his pictures. His neighbor is a pilot, and lent Aiden his hat as a really cool, cute, over-sized prop. I absolutely love how these pictures turned out!
Happy 3rd Birthday, Aiden!
Charlotte is 6 Months! - Cranberry Twp. Baby Session
I first met Miss Charlotte when she was a newborn in October. She was beautiful then, and just keeps getting sweeter with age! When she returned for her 6 Month session, we chose a shabby-chic Spring theme, and she even did some shots in the same swaddle and headband she wore during her Newborn Session!
Happy Half Birthday, Charlotte!
Ella Rose - Cranberry Twp. Newborn Photography
Baby Ella Rose is as sweet and delicate as her name, so a feminine, classic light pink session with lace seemed so appropriate. She was simply darling, and I so enjoyed meeting her after working with her parents for their maternity session. Welcome to the world, little lady!
Olivia is One! - Cranberry Twp. First Birthday Photography
It's Olivia's "Berry" 1st Birthday, and she celebrated with her favorite treat of strawberries! This unique theme was inspired by Olivia's strawberry-blonde hair, and I absolutely love it. What a sweet way to celebrate turning one!
Gavin is Two! - Cranberry Twp. Birthday Photography
Oh TWO-dles! Gavin is two, and I can hardly believe it! He was just a little baby when I did my first session with him, and now he has grown into such a sweet toddler. He was so well-behaved for his session. Gavin will be celebrating his birthday at the beginning of April with a joint Minnie/Mickey party with his cousin in NYC! What a fun way to ring in the magical age of two...TWO much fun!
Zachary Jordan - Cranberry Twp. Newborn Photography
Sweet Baby Zachary was so precious for his newborn session. Once he got comfortable and warm, he dozed peacefully, and snuggled with his comfy elephant.
Welcome to the world, Zachary!
Emma is Two! - Cranberry Twp. Birthday Photography
I love the color palette Emma's mom requested for her 2nd birthday session. The neutral whites and gold look really pretty and feminine, while still being clean and simple. This Valentines birthday girl looked so cute in both her casual and dressy outfits.
Happy Birthday, Sweet Emma!
Jameson is 6 Months! - Gibsonia Baby Photography
Sweet little Jameson is everything a 6-month-old should be; happy, chubby, and smiley! He was such a good boy when I visited his home for a session in his nursery. He was all smiles and laughs! I was sure to capture the adorable details of his 6-month-old self in his dimpled knuckles and squishy feet.
Happy Half Birthday, Jameson!
Lindsay & Nick - Franklin Park Maternity Photography
These stunning parents-to-be braved the elements to capture some beautiful maternity images in the snow. Mama's bump-hugging gown looked so elegant on her. She then changed into a more casual outfit perfect for the snowy scenery. The white on white really made her gorgeous red hair pop against the background.
I'm looking forward to meeting their baby girl next month!
