The beautiful Emma Grace (and her gorgeous head of hair) came a few weeks earlier than expected - due to be an Easter peep, but arriving as a lucky charm the day before St. Patrick’s Day. She slept peacefully all through her session, and even pursed her lips and smiled a few times. She was a dream to photograph, and I can’t wait to watch her grow over the next year!
Sadie Elizabeth - Newborn Session
With springtime comes new life, and the arrival of beautiful Sadie Beth. She has completed the P family! What a lucky girl to be surrounded by such love, including two big brothers who were so noticeably proud of their family’s new addition.

Daphne Anne - Newborn Session
The fourth love of their lives was delivered on Valentine’s Day - beautiful, sweet Daphne.
She makes Baby #4 in five years for this loving family, and rounds out their collection of cuties perfectly. Every time I have the pleasure of photographing the C family, I can sense the love that emanates from them. The two oldest big sissies are like miniature mothers, caring for the babies, and their parents are kind, patient, and selfless. It is no wonder God sent them this adorable, perfect valentine.
Avery Jean - Newborn Session
Baby Avery is my first newborn session of 2024! She was born on the second day of winter, so I had already planned some feminine wintery vibes for her session. During the session, I learned her parents are actually big skiers, and wanted to incorporate that into her photos, so that happily worked out! We even got a shot of her with momma’s ski gear, which will be added to their wall of ski photographs in their game room! I love it when clients have a clear vision of what they’d like out of a session, but if you find yourself without ideas, I’m happy to brainstorm and come up with something to perfectly represent your family.
Taytum Elizabeth - Newborn Session
Sweet Taytum’s session was before the holidays, but in the hustle and bustle that ensued, I never got a chance to give her a proper post on the blog. Here she is! Such a sweet little nugget. I photographed her twin siblings a few years ago, and she is practically identical to them. So beautiful!
Elliotte Grace - Newborn Session
This darling angel Elliotte Grace surprised her family a few weeks earlier than expected, but is doing so well. She slept soundly for most of her session, and wasn’t bothered by a thing. Along with her styled shots, we also got an amazing first family photo with “big brother” Winston included! It was a pleasure capturing your precious face, Ellie!
Evelyn is Six Months! - Baby Portrait Session
This little cutie has stolen my heart! Last time I saw her she was a sleepy newborn with a head full of thick black hair. Now she’s a super smiley (almost) 6-month-old with the sweetest wispy baby hair and the most precious laugh. She was such a good baby for her session, and didn’t even mind that we changed her into 3 different looks. This sweet angel kept the smiles coming! Big Sister was also a picture pro, and looked adorable alongside Baby Sis. Can’t wait to see Evelyn again for her big first birthday!
Nelle is One! - First Birthday Session
It has been my pleasure to capture sweet baby Nelle from bump to baby to big girl! She is a real joy to photograph! For her First Birthday session, we explored her family’s beautiful backyard, which also happens to be the location of her mom’s maternity photos exactly one year prior. On the day of the maternity session, the property was covered with purple wildflowers, which we incorporated into the session, so of course, we had to do the same for the first birthday.
In addition to the flowers, we also did a cake smash, featuring the pearls of Nelle’s great-great-grandmother, her namesake, and also a strawberry milk bath! It’s strawberry season, and felt so appropriate for this little country girl.

Evelyn Isabel - Newborn Session
I love returning to my clients homes when they welcome more children. I first met the M Family when they became parents two years ago, now they have two precious daughters with the addition of sweet Evelyn. I instantly fell in love with her adorable hair and perfect, little face. Big sissy Hadley wasn’t feeling pictures at first, but soon warmed up and frequently nuzzled her baby doll of a sister throughout her session. These two are going to share such an incredible bond.

Natalia Joan - Newborn Session
I love putting elements of nature into my styled sessions, and when the baby is born during Spring, there are so many gorgeous stems to choose from! Natalia’s mommy requested purple, so a few fresh lilacs did the trick. Purple also happens to be the favorite color of Big Sis. After this sweetheart got into a deep sleep, we switched her over to some coral with a contrasting bow to get a different look.

Elliana is One! - First Birthday Session
It was a joy to work with Elliana and her mommy for her first birthday session! I loved the daisy theme they carried out, as well as the milk bath! Milk baths are a super fun way to photograph a baby for their first birthday. A small amount of milk combined with lukewarm water creates a dreamy, opaque background to really highlight baby’s features. It also gives us a chance to add some fun, little floatable props like flowers, leaves, or pinecones to the mix. Lastly, it bounces light onto baby’s face to get some really angelic shots, which was easy to accomplish with this one as Ellie was all smiles!

Nelle is Six Months! - Baby Session
This little peanut is celebrating her half birthday just in time for Christmas! Her mommy and daddy wanted to include the holiday in her session, since the milestone coincides with the most wonderful time of the year. It was a cold and gloomy day, and our original plan to shoot at the Cranberry Schoolhouse wasn’t quite as appealing, so we ducked inside to take a few tummy pictures around the Christmas tree at the municipal center. We still got our outdoor pictures, but Baby Nelle was much more comfortable inside, and the festive background worked out perfectly!
The B Family/Ariana is Six Months! - Family and Baby Milestone Session
I have been photographing this beautiful family since they started their journey as parents over three years ago. I was thrilled when they contacted me to say…Surprise! We now have a baby girl! Ariana is simply adorable, and it was so fun to photograph her in her gorgeous outfit, complete with the sweetest rolls! The B Family requested that we do a family session, and also focus more on Ariana to mark her six month milestone. I was happy to oblige them, as a family portrait session can be whatever the client wants. If you’d like to focus in on a certain family member, or have more candid shots versus more posed…just ask!
Nelle Violette - Newborn Session
What a pleasure to meet sweet Nelle after photographing her parents for their maternity session in May. They did not know what they were having, so the anticipation of Nelle’s arrival had an extra surprise in store. For their sweet baby girls session, we started with lifestyle shots in the nursery, and then moved on to a few posed. Nelle gave a mix of awake and sleepy looks for her newborn images. Both are equally lovely on her! I love her traditional name, with Nelle being inspired by her mamas great-grandmother Nellie. Also, the middle name Violette seemed so appropriate with our maternity session taking on an unexpected purple theme with the many wildflowers that were blooming that day. Because of this, Antique Purple seemed to be the obvious choice for her wraps. I can’t wait to continue to watch Baby Nelle bloom as she grows!
Hadley is One! - First Birthday Session
It was wonderful to spend a warm June evening with Hadley and her family. She looked so adorable frolicking in the golden sunlight, chasing bubbles, and collecting rocks and pinecones. This little sweetie loves nature, and it was fun to catch her in her element. I was fortunate to document her life from newborn to first birthday, and it was a joy to watch her grow.

Ellie is One! - First Birthday Session
This First Birthday Session rounds out a full year of capturing Ellie! Her family purchased the First Year Special, as they also did for their oldest daughter, and received three sessions; newborn, baby, and birthday, for the price of two! I’ve truly enjoyed working with the W family for the past 3 years. They have the sweetest daughters, and such a well-behaved dog! Ellie made us work hard for her smiles, but once we got them, it was so worth it! Check out that little bottom tooth!

Piper Jolee - Newborn Session
Sweet little Piper was an angel for her session. After she got comfy, she slept peacefully and even gave me a few little smirks. For her in-home session, we did a mix of posed, styled photos, and a few candid shots in her crib. One thing is for sure, Piper is so loved by her mommy and daddy, and extended family, as well! She is the first child for her parents, but joins many cousins (almost all of them girls!). Welcome to the world, little beauty!

I had so much fun photographing Hadley for her six month session. She and her family looked great in their stylish outfits, and she brought loads of personality along with her high fashion! There must be a tooth on the way, because her sweet little tongue kept popping out! I also love the shots of her biting her lips. Such an absolute doll!

Ellie was a fashionista for her baby session, with a few holiday shots thrown in! She was so sweet, and reminded me of her sister who I photographed at the same age. We even did the same shot in the Santa bag that we did with her big sis.
