Nico Lee - Newborn Session

It was so fun to capture Nico and his sweet parents in his beautiful nursery. His parents did not know if they were having a boy or a girl, so they opted for a gorgeous green and neutral room, that they could easily enhance with little touches for their little one. The only gender-specific thing they purchased ahead of time was a Little Dude shirt (a nod to mama’s maiden name), and their intuition was correct! Their little boy arrived on April 3rd.

Nico was active, but pleasant, throughout his session. Giving me so many smiles, direct eye contact, and hand movements. And his handsome head of hair was so very precious. I can’t wait to work with him again throughout his first year!

Emma Grace - Newborn Session

The beautiful Emma Grace (and her gorgeous head of hair) came a few weeks earlier than expected - due to be an Easter peep, but arriving as a lucky charm the day before St. Patrick’s Day. She slept peacefully all through her session, and even pursed her lips and smiled a few times. She was a dream to photograph, and I can’t wait to watch her grow over the next year!

Evelyn Isabel - Newborn Session

I love returning to my clients homes when they welcome more children. I first met the M Family when they became parents two years ago, now they have two precious daughters with the addition of sweet Evelyn. I instantly fell in love with her adorable hair and perfect, little face. Big sissy Hadley wasn’t feeling pictures at first, but soon warmed up and frequently nuzzled her baby doll of a sister throughout her session. These two are going to share such an incredible bond.

Welcome to the world, sweet Evelyn!

Eleanor Joelle - Newborn Session

I always love to revisit past clients when they have their next baby. Not only do I get to see the new addition, but I also get to see how the big sister or brother has grown. I first met the W Family when I photographed their oldest daughter Veronica two years ago. I was delighted to be invited back to capture their new sweet girl, Eleanor Joelle. “Ellie,” as they will be calling her, was a dream baby, who cooperated for her session. Also a cooperative subject, was big “brother” Bash. When I photographed Veronica, Bash accidentally photobombed a sweet picture where I was peering over Mommy and Daddy’s shoulders to get a shot of the baby. It turned out to be one of my favorite newborn pictures ever, so we just had to recreate it for Ellie. Bash was happy to oblige us, and sat perfectly for the shot.
